Feeding advice
- Provide daily, depending on the animals’ need and condition
- It goes without saying that you take care of fresh and clean water at all times as ornamental waterfowl need a lot of it. w
- Make sure enough stomach gravel is always available and especially i the breeding season take care of sufficient grit.
- Provide duck grain especially in the moulting period and during autumn and winter in order to reduce the protein percentage of Anseres Floating or Anseres Sea Duck Pellet.
- Duckfood may be given in shallow pans under water preventing wild birds from eating along (at the depth of approx. 10 cm).
The varieties below are composed on the basis of the specific needs of young animals.
To the rearing products Faunabiobalance has been added for a much better absorption of the feed. Faunabiobalance improves the resistance and growth and helps reducing the mortality of young animals.
In the overview below you find the types of food for ornamental fowl composed for adult birds. Waterfowl sometimes differ strongly from each other, both in the form of the beak and in the nutritional needs. Kasper Faunafood takes this into account by the composition of the special feed for eg. flamingos, cranes and sea ducks.
The product range also includes a number of Hobbyline products. Hobbyline is sold in small bags containing 1.5 kg (for breeding products) up to and incl. 4.0 kg. The packages are filled in a protective atmosphere (Freshpack) and therefore remain fresh longer. Kasper Faunafood adds no synthetic antioxidants such as BHA/BHT (E320/E321) en Ethoxiquine (E324).
