Recommended daily feed intake

For Primate Leaf eater pellets / Primate PT1 pellets / Primate GO2 pellets:
Primates eat about 2-4% of their body weight as feed. This feed should be fed in respect to their condition, together with leaves, vegetables and some fruit of their well being. Feed at least one third of their daily ratio with pellets. These pellets may include maximum 65% of the total feed ratio (on dry matter basis).

For Primate Soft Flakes with insects:
Feed around 25-30 gram soft flakes per kg bodyweight per day

For Primate Cake for Tamarins and Marmosets:
Primates eat about 2-4% of their body weight as feed. This feed should be fed in respect to their condition, together with fruits, insects, vegetables or gum for their well being. Feed around 20-25 gram powder per kg bodyweight per day.

For Primate Mix Folin+ B12:
Dosage per day: 1 spoonful (5 g) for every 15 animals; equivalent to 0,33 g per animal daily

For Primate Mix Vit D3:
Dosage per day: 1 spoonful (5 g) for every 6 animals; equivalent to 0,5 g per animal daily (= 40 i.u.).

Primate GO 2 pellets

Complementary feed for leaf eating primate species. This feed has a long history in feeding it to both Old World and New World primate species.

  • Based upon a (wheat)gluten-free recipe

  • With a balanced pattern of vitamins and minerals for good health

  • With organic bound trace-element zinc, manganese and copper to support locomotion, skin and hair, immunity and reproduction

  • Contains vitamin C in stabilized form

Primate PT 1 pellets

Complementary feed for primates. This feed has a long history in feeding it to several Old World primate species.

  • With pre-cooked wheat for an easy digestion

  • Contains an elevated level of fibre, especially cellulose and lignin (ADF fraction) for a healthy intestinal tract

  • With a balanced pattern of vitamins and minerals for good health

  • With organic bound trace-element zinc, manganese and copper to support locomotion, skin and hair, immunity and reproduction

  • Contains vitamin C in stabilized form

Primate Leaf eater pellets

Complementary feed for leaf eating primate species. This feed is fully based upon the nutritional needs of leaf eating primates like langurs, macaques, gibbons, lemurs and gorillas.

  • With a high content of fibre, especially cellulose and lignin (ADF-fraction), required for these primates

  • Low in starch and sugars, without cereals like wheat barley or oat and (wheat) gluten-free to ensure a good digestion and low glycaemic index

  • With a balanced pattern of vitamins and minerals for good health

  • With organic bound trace-element zinc, manganese and copper to supprt locomotion, skin and hair, immunity and reproduction

  • Contains vitamin C in stabilized form

Feed supplement for primates that enhances:

  • Build-up protein and muscle tissue

  • Production of red blood cells

Primate mix Vit D3

Feed supplement for primates. Vitamin D plays an important role in various organ systems:

  • Vitamin D regulates the levels of calcium and phosphorous in the blood by promoting its absorption from the food in the gut as well as its reabsorption in the kidneys

  • It reduces calcium loss from the bone

Primate Soft Flakes with insects

Complementary feed for insectivore primates. Intended for feeding obligate insectivore primates like marmosets, tamarins and squirrel monkeys as well as for facultative insectivore primates like lemurs, macaques and mandrills.

  • Rich in mealworms and buffaloworms: whole insect larvae are included

  • Rich in fruit (mango, apricot, cranberries) and fruit products (grape pulp and apple pulp)

  • With a balanced pattern of vitamins and minerals for good health

  • With vitamin C in stabilized form

Primate Cake for tamarins and marmoset

Complementary feed for callitrichidae species such as; marmosets and tamarins. This feed is designed to meet the nutritional needs of insectivore primates. It is a powder that mixed with water becomes a stiff paste which will set into a firm moist cake. This cake can be cut in pieces or turned into balls before feeding.

  • It contains animal protein from insects and egg powder

  • With acacia gum

  • A balanced pattern of vitamins and minerals for good health

  • With vitamin C in stabilized form
